Our Mission and Vision
The mission of First Baptist Church Posey Crossroads is to love God, to love others, and to magnify the name of Jesus Christ. The vision of our church is to glorify our God and Savior, Jesus Christ, to make true disciples throughout all the nations by means of missionary activity and support, to minister the ordinances, to edify believers, and to do all that is sovereignly possible and biblically permissible to magnify the name of Jesus.
Meet our pastor
Pastor Tom Jordan
Pastor Tom was saved at 5 years of age and God called him to preach at 18 years of age. Tom has a bachelor degree from Ambassador Baptist College, and a masters degree from Andersonville Seminary.
Tom has been preaching as of 2018 for 28 years, pastoring 17 of those years, and working as an evangelist during this time as well. Tom got his start in the ministry the old fashioned way, by preaching on streets, parking lots, rescue missions, nursing homes, and filling the pulpit for Pastors in over 50 churches in the state of Alabama, also preaching 18 different states, and 4 different countries.
